How does Exilis work?
Radiofrequency thermal waves warm the tissue in the skin to create a minimal thermal injury to the skin that stimulates the body’s natural healing. Over time, this healing process encourages the production of new collagen and elastin fibers, smoothing the skin and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The new collagen fibroblasts help to tighten loose or slightly sagging skin, giving an overall more youthful appearance, improving skin texture and laxity.
What to expect when having an Exilis treatment
Treatments are described as a warm massage and have no downtime. Collagen and Elastin will continue to rebuild collagen for up to 4-6 months for complete results. Most patients undergo between 4 to 6 treatments scheduled 2-4 weeks apart. Each treatment of a specific body part usually takes between 30 to 60 minutes. With touch up treatments every 6-12 months.
